The Loyalist College of Applied Arts and Technology
The Loyalist College of Applied Arts and Technology was founded in 1967.It is one of 24 colleges of applied arts and technology in the Ontario college system. As a publicly funded post-secondary institution, the college provides career oriented, relevant programs, an outstanding faculty and staff, state-of-the-art facilities and a full range of services to support student success. All of the diploma, post-graduate, certificate and degree pathway programs meet the high educational standards required by the Ministry of Training, Colleges and Universities within the Government of Ontario and are recognized around the world.
Loyalist College offers international students the ideal combination of academic excellence, extra-curricular activities and intercultural experiences. With approximately 3,000 students enrolled in more than 60 programs, it is small enough to provide personal, friendly and caring attention to all of the students.
Situated approximately two hours east of Toronto, in the city of Belleville, Loyalist’s beautifully wooded 200 acre campus lies within easy reach of housing, shopping, dining and entertainment of all kinds. Highway 401, Ontario’s major east-west traffic artery, passes within a few kilometres of the campus. Commuter trains, buses and local transit also bring us within easy reach.
