Vancouver Community College is located in the heart of the city of Vancouver and is the first and largest government accredited public post-secondary college in British Columbia. Since 1965, it has earned a strong and well-deserved reputation for its commitment to community, student-centred approach, award-winning faculty, and range of access and applied career programming. VCC offers international students a wide range of full-time programs to gain skills and knowledge for employment, ranging from certificates, university transfer credits, trades certificates, diplomas and full bachelor’s degrees. Its schools and divisions include Arts & Science, Hospitality, Food Studies & Applied Business, Library, Teaching & Learning Services, Trades, Technology & Design, Health Sciences and Indigenous education. The college supports and provides assistance to our international students in many ways, including new student orientation, medical insurance, educational planning, and information about studying and working in Canada. The collection at the VCC Library includes a wide variety of print and electronic materials that have been selected to assist students with their studies. Its on-campus facilities include dental clinic, bookstore, childcare centre, gourmet restaurants, an auto shop, and newly renovated salon and spa.
