The Times Education Higher Education (THE) World University Rankings is an annual publication of university rankings by the Times Higher Education magazine. It is one of the three most popular rankings in the world along with QS World Ranking and Academic Ranking of World Universities. THE Rankings have evaluated 1,799 universities from 104 countries and territories this year.
The influencers under the THE ranking include teaching (30%), research (30%), citation (30%), industry income (2.5%), and international outlook (7.5%).
Five Canadian Universities have ranked in the top 100 this year. The University of Toronto sustained its number position in Canada and 18th position overall. As a matter of fact, the University of Alberta has moved up on the charts to rank 118 (up from 125).
The next THE World University Ranking is expected to come out in September 2023.
