Camberwell Girls Grammar School began in the hall of St Mark’s Anglican Church. It was founded in February 1920. The School has thrived and grown to become one of Australia’s leading independent schools for girls. It’s Vision, Mission and Values statement firmly focuses on the future. It welcomes students of all faiths and cultures and educates them to seek wisdom through intellectual inquiry, service learning and spiritual growth that honours the values of Integrity, Commitment, Respect, Hope and Courage.
