Collaboration with Torrens University and Central Queensland University yields new pathway packages
Kangan Institute has collaborated with Torrens University and Central Queensland University (CQU), introducing new pathway packages in hospitability and fashion programmes for international students in 2019.
The following new pathway packages are available:
- Kangan Institute offers the Diploma of Applied Fashion Design and Merchandising with the option of undertaking the Bachelor of Branded Fashion Design at Torrens University upon completion as well as a guaranteed pathway from the Diploma of Hospitality Management into the Bachelor of Business (Hospitality Management).
- Kangan Institute offers a number of options for students to complete a certificate, diploma or advanced diploma at Kangan Institute and pathway into a number of bachelor courses at Central Queensland University.
Kangan student wins national award in nursing
Roxanne Riley, a final year Diploma of Nursing student, received the 2018 Australian Nursing & Midwifery Federation (ANMF) – Victorian Branch Student Nurse Award. She was recognised for her exceptional understanding of professional nursing coupled with outstanding interpersonal and communication skills.
“Kangan Institute has helped me with my career goals by offering relevant course modules and industry exposure that provided me with the skills necessary to begin a career in nursing,” Riley said.
