London Brunel International College (LBIC) is a pathways college, located within Brunel University London (BUL) which offers a range of preparatory courses, providing a direct route to enrolment on a degree course at the university. Named after the famed Victorian engineer, Isambard Kingdom Brunel, the university is a world class institution with specialisations in Engineering, Business, and Health and Social Studies. LBIC has been in partnership with BUL since 2003 and, in this time, has helped thousands of students successfully progress to the degree course of their choice. Graduation from an LBIC pathway program guarantees entry to over 150 undergraduate and postgraduate degree courses at BUL.
The LBIC campus is situated in Uxbridge, a dynamic and rapidly developing suburb at the western perimeter of Greater London. It is a historic town with plenty to see and do. There are parks, cafes, restaurants, a cinema and modern shopping centres. Uxbridge offers a self-contained lifestyle, close to the English countryside and with a character of its own, yet only a 30-minute journey to central London via public transport. Residents get the best of both worlds, and with almost 15,000 students attending BUL representing a global learning community, the area is well set up to cater to the needs of its lively student population.
LBIC students share a campus and facilities with their university peers, and benefit from access to sports facilities and study resources, and can also participate in all the same clubs and societies as BUL students. Integration into the university lifestyle starts from day one and comes with the support and social inclusion which brings confidence in successfully transiting into their chosen degree course.
