University of Strathclyde is a leading international technological University located in the heart of Glasgow, Scotland's biggest city. It is one of the UK's leading cultural, historical and scenic cities. The University has around 22,000 students from more than 100 nations. Strathclyde excels in key subject areas and has a strong reputation with employers for producing top quality graduates. The university offers over 220 plus Undergraduate courses and 200 postgraduate programmes. The university also delivers English language courses and it has an excellent record of delivering English courses of varying lengths and levels throughout the year. The programme includes courses in General English, English for Academic Purposes and Study Skills. The university also offers scholarships and some of its scholarships offer a full funding package that covers both tuition fees and living expenses. Other awards offer partial funding, for example a contribution to living costs or tuition fees only.
More than 1,440 students live in its Campus Village with a further 400 living in its off-campus residences situated about a 10-minute walk from the main campus. The University of Strathclyde is in the centre of Glasgow. The city is known for its diversity, friendliness, quality of life and reasonable cost of living.
