Trent university is located in Peterborough, 90 minutes northeast of Toronto and about three hours from Ottawa. Inclusive and innovative, with a focus on the individual student, Trent University is known for its supportive community environment and emphasis on global perspectives. A Trent education provides the intellectual tools and social awareness to become a successful professional and an active citizen of the world. 7,500 undergraduates study more than 70 majors, while 350 graduate students pursue 14 advanced degrees, and 95 percent of Trent students are employed or in graduate school within six months of graduation. Trent’s campus resides on 1,450 beautifully wooded acres straddling the Otonabee River in Peterborough, with a population of 110,000. Recreational opportunities abound in the town, which experiences warm, humid summers and cold, snowy winters. Toronto, with a metropolitan population of 6.5 million people and countless cultural, entertainment and internship possibilities, is 100 km from campus.
