Brunel University London is located in Uxbridge, West London, and was ranked among the UK's top 50 universities in the Complete University Guide 2018. Students from around the world are encouraged to attend Brunel – which has been named as a world top 25 university for international students. London provides students with plenty to do in their spare time, with plenty of shops, bars, clubs, museums, parks, theatres and iconic attractions on their doorstep.
Situated on a single campus, Brunel University boasts impressive learning and recreational facilities, including a 24-hour library and computer centre, a state-of-the-art fitness centre - complete with sports halls, an exercise studio and a sports park - a wide range of on-site shops and restaurants, and a student bar and nightclub.
The University's Students' Union offers over 100 clubs and societies for students to get involved with, including general interest, academic and community-based groups. The SU also runs regular social events, as well as an advice centre – offering help with everything from money issues to academic advice.
New students are supported during their first few weeks at the university through the Brunel Buddies scheme. Trained students are there to help newcomers find their way around the campus, answer any questions and get involved in student life.
A dedicated careers hub at the university provides advice and information on all areas of the job search, both online and on campus. Students can make an appointment with a careers counsellor, download job hunting resources and get help with applying for internships and graduate jobs. By studying in London, pupils also benefit from having access to global companies – ideal for gaining work experience.
