Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey - Camden
Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey, is a leading public research university and New Jersey's preeminent, comprehensive public institution of higher education. Founded in the 1920s, it began as the South Jersey Law School and the College of South Jersey. The two schools became the Camden campus when it merged with Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey. It has good reason to be proud, a long and illustrious history, a vibrant academic environment, exciting research programs, and a tradition of service to New Jersey and the nation. But the greatest source of pride is the people, the faculty, staff, students, and alumni who are working to advance society and improve lives both at home and abroad.
Today, Rutgers University, Camden boasts two additional PhD degrees in computational biology and public affairs. The School of Business offers a four year undergraduate business curriculum along with MBA, professional masters, and executive programs. Rutgers Law School ranked highly and nationally, boasts a new and impressive facility complete with a state-of-the-art moot courtroom. The university delivers the academic heft that students would expect from a power house public research university. It focuses that energy in teaching, research, and civic engagement, within the greater Delaware Valley.
