The University of Gloucestershire is a medium sized university with over 160 years of history. It is big enough to offer variety and flexibility in the courses, yet small enough that the student can expect a friendly atmosphere and a very personal level of support. The University has delivered high quality teaching and higher education since 1847.

Gloucestershire offers an extensive range of undergraduate, postgraduate masters and PhD degrees. The flexible modular structure of the degrees at the university means that the student can have more choice about the options being studied. Joint Honours degrees are increasingly popular, while Sandwich Courses allow undergraduate students to have a year in paid employment with one of the many employers. The programmes ensure that the students are learning skills that quality employers are looking for in new graduates.

The University has four campuses in Cheltenham and Gloucester. Each has its own character and history. The on-campus accommodation, inter-site bus services, free orientation programme and dedicated international student support services are there to make the transition to studying in the UK as easy as possible.
