The University of Southern Queensland (USQ) is a dynamic university dedicated to providing quality on-campus and online study programs for students of all study levels from over 110 countries. More and more corporations looking to gain a competitive edge in their industries focus on developments in information technology to drive efficiency and performance. USQ’s practical Master of IT Innovation is designed to produce professionals with the required skills to make a difference in their chosen industry. USQ’s Information Technology study field provides students with recognised qualifications from the Seoul Accord and is highly rated in terms of full-time employment for its graduates.
In alignment with the growing agricultural industry, USQ has also instituted a Master of Science (Agricultural Science) to help students understand and explore national and international challenges of agricultural production.

The historic city of Ipswich, located less than an hour&rsquos drive from Brisbane city, is home to numerous parks and offers scope for a range of outdoor activities.
USQ Ipswich offers a variety of Nursing and Allied Health programs, supplemented by custom-built paramedical training facilities, nursing laboratories, a midwifery simulation centre and much more. The campus also houses a stunning library with a living rainforest.
The AUD 8.5 million Queensland College of Wine Tourism was developed as a joint venture between USQ and the Department of Education, Training and Employment to develop curricula and programs in collaboration with the wine tourism industry. To apply to study at the University of Southern Queensland, students need to go through the following steps:
- Choose a degree
- Check the entry requirements, both academic and English &ndash undergraduate, postgraduate or research.
- Collect certified supporting documentation
- Submit an application via a selected education agent
Students should be mindful of:
- There is no application or assessment fee
- Students must ensure all certified supporting documentation is attached
- Students must meet the Genuine Temporary Entrant (GTE) criteria outlined in the Department of Home Affairs Simplified Student Visa Framework (SSVF)
- Students must provide proof of English language proficiency, financial capacity, and intention to comply with visa conditions.
