California College of the Arts
Founded in 1907, California College of the Arts (CCA) is noted for the inter-disciplinarian and breadth of its programs. It is a private, nonprofit college, accredited by the Western Association of Schools and Colleges, the National Association of Schools of Art and Design, the National Architectural Accrediting Board and Council for Interior Design Accreditation. California College of the Arts educates students to shape culture and society through the practice and critical study of art, architecture, design and writing. Its students, alumni, and faculty are at the cutting edge of every creative field, working in industry and the community and founding businesses of their own.
The college offers more than 22 undergraduate and 13 graduate majors. It grants Bachelor of Architecture, Bachelor of Arts, Bachelor of Fine Arts, Master of Architecture, Master of Arts, Master of Business Administration and Master of Fine Arts degrees. Its International Student Affairs and Programs Office is exclusively devoted to helping international students with immigration regulations and managing cultural transitions and also develop the college’s international social community by hosting workshops, events and exhibitions.
California College of the Arts is located in the San Francisco Bay Area, a region known for creative and technological innovation, environmental leadership, and its thriving art and design communities.
