Lancaster students can take advantage of the university's modern campus. Open 24/7 during term time, the freshly renovated library offers more than 1,200 workspaces and silent and quiet study areas. Power sockets can be found throughout the whole library to charge all devices, and PCs and laptops are available for loan at no cost.
In addition to plenty of relaxing green spaces, the campus has much on offer for student services and entertainment. There's an art gallery and concert hall, a theatre, cinema, restaurants, cafes, bars, banks, a post office, hairdressing salons, and even an ice cream parlour.
Students are taught by passionate staff who, through the most recent Teaching Excellence Framework, have been recognised for the quality of their teaching. Beyond the classroom there is a careers centre that students can utilise, which helps with everything from applying for jobs to writing cover letters. Careers events and workshops are put on throughout the academic year, and students can receive one-to-one advice through sessions with a careers advisor.
