Texas A&M University - Corpus Christi - International Study Center (StudyGroup)

The ISC is a dedicated facility for ambitious international students. It is a place that welcomes, supports, and helps you to gain the skills, knowledge and foundation to succeed at A&M-Corpus Christi and become an active member of their community. They offer two pathways, International Year One (IY1), which prepares students for their undergraduate degree, and Pre-Master’s Program (PMP) which has been designed for graduate students. Upon completing your IY1 or PMP studies at the ISC, you’ll join the degree program of your choice, fully prepared for the challenges of an A&M-Corpus Christi education. At the ISC, they provide CareerAhead, an integrated service that ensures you are preparing for your future career from day one. CareerAhead focuses on the ‘soft’ skills you will need for success and will enhance your employability. Once you move on to your degree at the University, the ISC works with the Career Office on campus to make sure you continue your career focused learning, with opportunities to participate in research and on campus jobs in some departments.
