Get involved at the University of New Brunswick's Fredericton campus. From dancing and debating to rock climbing and scuba diving, there's an activity for everyone. Learn new skills and meet new people, in some cases, clubs can make student realize what direction they want to take in life. Established in 1961, CHSR-FM is Fredericton's only campus radio station. Shows cover a broad variety of subjects from culture to politics - and of course, music. Beside this, started in 1867, The Brunswickan is Canada's oldest official student publication. Sections cover news, sports, health, opinion, and arts and culture. For students interested in journalism, the Brunswickan is the best opportunity.
The University of New Brunswick Saint John hosts over 50 clubs and societies- there’s something for everyone. UNB’s Saint John campus offers a student run radio station and newspaper. CFMH 107.3 is on the public airwaves, programs run all day and well into the night. Both campuses of UNB offers opportunities to participate in a particular sport or activity at a level of competency not normally provided in other intramural, varsity programs.
The university researchers are active in a diverse array of subjects ranging from social and government policy to the development of innovative technologies in many scientific fields.
