Art and Gastronomy in Australia
Light and music festival “Vivid Sydney” is held in Sydney between May and June every year and make exquisite images appear in the city. At the Sydney Festival which held in January, events like open-air concerts and street theatre takes place. In Melbourne, where the festivals are never ends; you can enjoy the Comedy Festival in April, the World’s Largest Writers Festival in September and International Animation Festival in July. At the “Tasting Australia Festival” in Melbourne which held in April, you can have a great time while trying Australian food.
Festivity Paradise: Great Britain
In Europe’s biggest festival, or even, the largest street carnival after Rio, “Notting Hill Carnival”, you can spend 3 days full of African and Caribbean music which takes place in London at the end of the last week of August every year. The Thames Festival, organized on the banks of the Thames River in London, is celebrated every September with dance, theatre, art, acrobatics and light shows.
Edingburgh Jazz&Blues Festival held in Scotland in August every year and brings together musicians worldwide and Glasgow International Jazz Festival, which adds colour to June, is among the best music festivals in the country. The fire festival which is called “Up Helly Aa” is celebrated in Scotland’s Shetland Islands, Lerwick on the last Tuesday of January. If you like to experience the Viking spirit, we recommended that you do not miss this festival.
“Belfast International Arts Festival” or with its old name “Belfast Festival at Queen’s”, took place in Northern Ireland in November, welcomes all the art lovers. The events in Dublin can be listed as: held in May which is full of dance and fun“St. Patrick’s Day” ; literary themed “Blooms Day Festival” which takes place every June; and “Dublin Theatre Festival” held every September – October.

As most of us know the “Burning Man” takes place in Black Rock Desert, Nevada in August and September. In “Burning Man” Festival which is famous for its costumes, music and dance never stops. “Marcy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade” held in New York in November and carnival animals, balloons, fancy cars create a visual feast all day long. One cannot count the Music festivals in America. Coachella, Electric Daisy Carnival Las Vegas, Austin City Limits Music Festival, Ultra Music Festival, New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival, Electric Zoo is just some of them.
