Camberwell Grammar School
Established in 1886, Camberwell Grammar School is an Independent Anglican School for Boys in Melbourne, Australia. It’s a friendly, safe and energetic learning community where students can explore a well-rounded education across a wide range of fields such as academic, sporting, artistic and spiritual, thus creating confident young men able to thrive in an ever-changing, global world.
The school’s impressive campus caters for students from Pre-Preparatory to Year 12, blending gracious period architecture with exciting contemporary design and state-of-the-art facilities. With around 1,300 students, Camberwell offers personalised attention of a smaller school and the extensive facilities of a larger school.
Students are exposed to the full learning spectrum from arts and humanities to sport, science and technology, to help them discover their paths in life and flourish. Camberwell Grammar School is also renowned for its thriving performing arts program, which includes four school orchestras (Junior, Middle, Senior and String), a school choir, and full-scale school productions and concerts. Events are held in the auditorium of its 1,000-seat Performing Arts Centre capable of accommodating a full symphony orchestra. Graphic design, photography, sculpture and painting are also popular with students. Sports activities available at school range from basketball, kayaking, cricket and Australian Rules Football, to soccer, athletics, tennis and water polo.
