IELI students come from many different countries. They normally have students from 20 and 30 different nationalities studying with them from Asia, Europe, the Middle East, Latin America, and Africa. It strongly encourages students to work together with students from other countries, and often use group work in class to encourage this.
The main campus is located at Flinders University and is perfect for students who want to experience studying on an Australian university campus. Full-time IELI students receive Flinders University student cards and can access all of the facilities at the university, including the main library and the gym. There are also many university clubs that students can join which is a great way to meet local students. The other campus of IELI is in the centre of Adelaide and is next to Victoria Square, Adelaide Central Market, and Chinatown. It?s also just one street away from Torrens University?s Wakefield St campus. Full-time IELI students receive a Torrens University student card and can access the university?s facilities on Wakefield Street.
