Saint Michael's College
Saint Michael's College is unique and the only Edmundite college in the world. It was founded in 1904 by the Society of Saint Edmund. The college puts great thought and care into what it’s students learn, and how they learn it. It’s mission is to contribute through higher education to the enhancement of the human person and the advancement of human culture in light of the Catholic faith. Whether the students are studying the environment, the global economy, new media, psychology, biochemistry, world religions or accounting, they will be taught by expert faculty who will mentor, illuminate their career and life paths, nurture their talents and challenge them to explore their values.
Students can choose from more than 30 majors, each is grounded in a meaningful liberal studies curriculum. A Saint Michael's education is a four-year experience that will change the way students see and care for the world. As a Catholic higher education institution with a social justice mission, it is called to be even more intentionally inclusive, celebrating the complexity and individuality that each person brings to it’s community. The college carries an obligation to ensure all students, faculty and staff encounters a welcoming, supportive, and inclusive environment.
The 400-acre campus is built on a scale that supports an outstanding educational, residential and recreational experience. At St. Mike's, a professor, a classroom, a lab, residence hall, and an outdoor adventure are never far away.
