Northeast Lakeview College (Alamo Colleges)
Northeast Lakeview College is a public community college within the system of Alamo Colleges, established in partnership with its communities. It is focused on student success through the offering of Associate degrees and continuing education, promoting engagement in civic activities and organizations, and encouraging participation in cultural and enrichment programs. A centre for educational excellence, the College combines innovative classroom instruction with hands-on experience to provide exemplary enrichment opportunities.
As the newest community college in the nation, Northeast Lakeview College provides a variety of degree plans, flexible course schedules, and a small, student-focused environment. The College currently enrols more than 6,000 students from the ten Metro com Communities and northeast San Antonio including Bexar, Comal, and Guadalupe Counties. It continues to grow rapidly to serve 15,000 students. The College provides a collaborative, supportive academic community to help students achieve their learning goals.
Northeast Lakeview College is the newest of the five colleges of the Alamo Colleges District and is located in northeast Bexar County. With a student enrolment of just over 6,000 students, it offers small classes that provide more personalized instruction to the students. In addition to a variety of educational courses and programs, the College offers a rich student life package and extracurricular activities.
