The University of Texas at San Antonio is an emerging Tier One research institution with nearly 29,000 students. It is the largest university in the San Antonio metropolitan region. The university is dedicated to the advancement of knowledge through research and discovery, teaching and learning, community engagement and public service. As an institution of access and excellence, it embraces multicultural traditions and serves as a center for intellectual and creative resources as well as a catalyst for socioeconomic development and the commercialization of intellectual property for Texas, the nation and the world.
UTSA offers a wide array of academic studies, with 133 undergraduate, 51 graduate and 24 doctoral programs. STEM programs include Biology, Computer Science, Engineering: Biomedical, Civil, Chemical, Computer, and Mechanical. All programs are fully accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools.
UTSA has three campuses, the Main Campus, Downtown Campus and Hemisfair Campus.
