IDP Education UK is taking part in National Customer Service 2016!
As members of the National Institute of Customer Service, we are committed to delivering excellent levels of service to our customers and clients.
Throughout National Customer Service Week (3-7 October 2016) we will be sharing case studies, insights, videos or activities related to the theme of the day. If you would like to share your stories or experiences with us, contact us!
During National Customer Service Week each day will have a customer service related theme to aid discussion and thought leadership. See the 2016 themes below:
Monday: Consumer Priorities
This week the UK office is engaged in all manner of tasks and events focusing on customer service. At IDP UK we work with closely with our clients to deliver a professional experience and we are able to measure the effectiveness of our customer service with our Client Satisfaction Survey.
We also work closely with our students right from the beginning of the counselling process to the end when they enrol in the institution of their choice. If you are interested in what we are doing this week then take a look at our Twitter page.
In the meantime, please watch the video below, which encapsulates the IDP "student experience".
Tuesday: Understanding Complaints
On Tuesday we looked at an effective complaints resolution. There are some simple steps that, if followed can ensure that complaints are resolved effectively! Click below to see what they are.
Wednesday: Customer Service Strategy
Today we are looking at customer service strategy. Here at IDP we always try to make sure we are "adding value" to every interaction we have with our clients and customers. Here is an example of the different ways we add value as the world's biggest student placement provider.
In November 2015, we launched a Corporate Social Responsibility strategy (CSR) comprised up of three predominant themes; community, environment and wellbeing. The aim of our CSR strategy was and still is to be more sustainable in our activities, making positive contributions to the community through charitable practices, as well as working closer with some of you, our clients.
From implementing a "Reduce, Reuse, Recycle" initiative to holding a skills training class in co-operation with the Welsh Refugee Council, you can read all about about CSR strategy on our dedicated page here.
Friday: Recognise and Celebrate
At IDP we enjoy celebrating the relationship we have with our clients. For example, we would like to thank Bobby Mehta, Head of Enquiries & Admissions and International at University of South Wales for sharing market insights with members of the IDP UK team recently on a day which was highly collaborative.
