University of East Anglia
University of East Anglia, founded in 1963, is an internationally renowned university based in a campus that provides top quality academic, social and cultural facilities to over 15,000 students. UEA graduates go on to enjoy a vast range of careers across the health, arts, science and social science sectors in big name multi-national companies, not-for-profit organisations and small enterprises. The university’s different schools of study collaborate closely with each other in teaching and research so studies can cross traditional subject boundaries. Students can also choose to complement their studies with language classes, sometimes as part of your degree and sometimes for a small additional fee. University of East Anglia offers a huge variety of sports clubs for students, ranging from American Football, Athletics and Basketball, to Yoga, Kayaking and Swimming. Students can also participate in societies, campaign and peer support groups, related to varied interests such as academic, cultural, charities, religion, medical, games & hobbies, arts & performance and personal development. A significant number of undergraduates stay at UEA to continue their studies at higher degree level. Its campus is located in 320 acres of rolling parkland just two miles from the centre of Norwich, the cathedral city, and England’s first UNESCO City of Literature. University of East Anglia is one of Britain's premier research and teaching universities and is committed to achieving international standards of excellence.
