" I’m grateful to my counsellor, Vinitha Akilesh, IDP Coimbatore. I remember the day when I stepped into the IDP office with confusion at its peak. As studying Masters abroad is not as easy as it could be said, I had enough fear before taking the leap. The hurdles through the process were numerous, which were easy to cross under the guidance of IDP counsellor. Having been guided in every step, I was able to develop confidence in choosing the right course for my profile. The educational fairs conducted by IDP were great eye openers in making my decision right. The experience in suggesting the best suited among available options is mind-blowing. Starting from posting applications to the desired universities, I appreciate the transparency maintained in keeping me informed of their status at every stage. I was clearly walked through the process involved and the documentation required to be taken care of from my end. I thank Vinitha for the effort she has taken in fastening my visa process, without which I would not have reached this far. Three weeks at the University of Otago, Dunedin, New Zealand, as a student of Master of Business Data Science program, has made feel more than happy for the choice that I have made. I wish good luck to IDP in making dream come true for as many students as possible in the coming days. Cheers! Jaswant Sathiyamoorthy "

It has been a remarkable learning experience where I have been able to clench the points of dealing with international admissions. The elongated process from admission to flying to NZ has been so smooth because of IDP & You. Your job is not as easy as it looks. Hats off to your patience Ms.Vinitha Akilesh. Applying to the universities and Visa was a very difficult task for me as I had never filled for a visa or traveled abroad. She initially explained everything to me and systematically got everything done one by one. During the process I had alot of doubts and encountered alot of problems with my documentation. She managed to solve all of it with ease. There were times where I would call or message her after her working hours, she would always oblige and help me through it. I even had an opportunity to meet the representative of Southern Institute of technology. Once he learnt that I was a professional hockey player too, he offered me a chance to play hockey for a club in New Zealand as well. It was a dream come true and a golden opportunity for me to pursue both my professional career and my sporting career. Presently, am a student of Southern institute of technology pursing my Masters in Information Technology. I received a 100% scholarship from the SIT under the John wright sports scholarship programme based on my sporting achievements. I would recommend IDP as a reliable resource to anyone who aspires to come to New Zealand.

Ever since I was a child I had two dreams. One of the dream was patisserie, making chocolates and cakes. I experimented in my mother’s kitchen when I was at school. In grammar school, I even earned a good amount of pocket money selling the chocolates I had designed, manufactured and packed. After graduation, I set up my own company in the entrepreneurial hub of Haus Khas, New Delhi . But I was forced to close it down after an year of success as threats made it too dangerous to continue. I was sad but then I remembered my other dream: New Zealand. New Zealand is one of the most civilised countries in the world with a very open, cosmopolitan culture, an abundant nature and a moderate climate. I wanted to take a course there in management because I realised that I would not want to spend all my life in the kitchen – it is very heavy work with long hours. But how to go about it? I googled everything about immigration and courses and it did not make me happy. How was I going to get through all the administrative hurdles? Then a friend told me about IDP. First I thought: “Another rip-off” but when I visited their office, conveniently located at Nehru Place, I found a friendly and a highly competent counsellor, Mr Arun who was eager to help. In addition, he knew all about New Zealand and administrative hurdles. And it was free of charge! I could not believe my ears, free of charge in India! We started to work on the procedures, me doing my part, he outlining the route and giving support on every step of the road. Finally , I will fly to my new country and I will be the happiest person in the world, able to realise my two dreams. Without IDP I would not have managed, so: Thank you IDP from the bottom of my heart!

First and foremost, I would like to thank IDP, the Client Relation Manager, and my counsellor, who helped me throughout the process. She not only helped me pick out the course that I was interested in but was patient enough to go through my case and made sure that every paper in the file was in place and every document was submitted when required, without any delay. The whole process was timely done right from the stage of selection of course, applying to universities, admission process, and visa application. There was enough transparency maintained from the counsellor’s side in terms of which option would be feasible for me. And their advice helped me to choose the right thing for me. I was in Christchurch in time enough to settle in and know the place well enough after my arrival. There are numerous opportunities here related to any field of interest, which helps you grow efficient in your field. I wish IDP all the very best in their future endeavours, and wish that they continue to make this happen for other students as well, since studying abroad a tough process and is a dream to most of us. I thank IDP for making a this a reality for me.
