University of Toledo
Established in 1872, The University of Toledo is a national, public research university where students obtain a world class education and become part of a diverse community of leaders committed to improving the human condition in the region and the world. It is a student centred, public metropolitan research university with 20,500 students and picturesque campuses recognized nationally for their beauty. University of Toledo offers programs at the undergraduate and graduate levels. The Main Campus features nine modern residence halls, a gothic bell tower, a Student Recreation Centre, a state-of-the-art classroom centre in one of the original buildings, Memorial Field House, and a football stadium and new Savage Hall basketball and athletic complex. Health Science Campus is home to graduate health programs and the UT Medical Centre, a Level 1 trauma centre, offering innovative treatments for strokes and cancer found nowhere else in the state.
The university campuses are quite the places to be with over 350 student organizations, art exhibits, theatre performances, athletic games, and renowned speakers.
