About Marianopolis College
Marianopolis is committed to offering the best possible preparation for university, which is why its classrooms and labs are equipped with state-of-the-art equipment and software. Its science labs have university research-level equipment, language lab uses sophisticated interactive language software and Mac labs offer music, studio arts and video editing. There are also many areas on campus where students can hang out with friends, such as cafeteria, student lounge, courtyards, campus grounds and rooms that are set aside for individual or group study. Other facilities include a resource filled library, a fitness centre, a dance studio, a double gym, soccer field, 600-seat Art Deco auditorium and black box theatre that provides perfect venues for the concerts, live shows, plays and poetry readings that take place throughout the year.
The college offers a variety of opportunities for sports, athletics and recreational activities. From intramural sports leagues and intercollegiate teams to invitational tournaments and sports clubs, Marianopolis offers a wide variety of physical activities to students, in both individual and team sports. Facilities are also available for weight training and field sports.
Its students also have the opportunity to get involved in a variety of enriching activities, from the week-long ArtsFest every spring and the annual ArtsTrip to cultural meccas, to gaining hands-on experience via the Lab Project, to competing in the Science Fair and Math and Science and Robotics events, as well as the Tournoi des jeunes d?mocrates and Model UN conferences.
