The University of South Wales (USW) is one of the biggest universities in the UK with 30,000 enrolled students. With three campuses in and near the capital of Wales, Cardiff.
The university is renowned for its partnerships with major employers, one of the reasons why 95 percent of its students are in employment or further study within six months of graduating. It uses these employer connections to run a series of public lectures featuring some of the leading figures in business and politics.
Courses across USW have been created with advice and guidance from professional bodies and leading businesses, to leave graduates from the institution in the best possible position to get a job once they have finished their qualification. USW graduates have gone on to work for companies such as Sony, the BBC, the NHS, and British Airways.
A course at USW is more than just a qualification. Inside and outside the classroom, the university help students achieve their potential, professionally and personally.
Teaching staff at USW are leaders in their fields, with connections across their specific industry, and do everything they can to make sure that students are up-to-date with the relevant information they need to succeed in their respective fields. With over 500 different undergraduate and postgraduate courses on offer at USW, there are a wide range of options for students to choose from.
USW welcomes 2,500 international students each year from 120 countries and does a lot to make students feel welcome, with a packed International Welcome Programme, airport arrival service and a variety of support services, such as Study Skills Assistance and English language support. Outside of classes, there are world-class sport facilities and a number of student clubs and societies to join.
