Worcester State University
Founded in 1874 as a teacher-training school, Worcester State University has grown to become a leading liberal arts and sciences university with a long tradition of academic excellence. The university offers programs spanning various study areas, which includes biomedical sciences, business, humanities, behavioural sciences, the health professions and education. Worcester State University’s new state-of-the-art Wellness Center offers the latest in exercise and weight-lifting equipment, a wide variety of group exercise classes, an indoor elevated track, and more. Amenities available to student-athletes include multipurpose and competition gyms, batting cages and a golf simulator.
