The College, Swansea University offers a range of academic courses including Foundation, First Year and Pre-Master's programmes leading to enrolment onto a degree at Swansea University.

The College is a Joint Venture between Swansea University and Navitas, and is an ideal option for international students who wish to pursue higher education at Swansea University but might not have the grades to join directly. Progression to a Swansea University degree is guaranteed upon successful completion of their course at The College.

Students at The College benefit from studying on the same campus and having full access to all of the same facilities and support services as Swansea University students from day one, while being taught by an expert team of academics and tutors. The College's teaching facilities are conveniently located on the Swansea University Bay Campus, which means that from the very first day, college students are part of the university community.

Entry requirements to The College's pathway programmes vary, based on level of study and on a course-by-course basis.

Generally, academic requirements are as follows:

• Foundation - GCSE level or equivalent
• First Year - A-level or equivalent
• Pre-Master's - Successful completion of a 3 year diploma equivalent to a UK HND for all subjects, except Engineering. Successful completion of a recognised UK Equivalent bachelor's degree for engineering pre-master's.

Since courses at The College are delivered in English, all students will be required to demonstrate a minimum level of English language proficiency in order to enrol on their chosen course.

Most commonly, this involves completing an accepted English language qualification. The most widely available qualification is the IELTS test, and the minimum scores for a standard two semester programme at each level of study offered by The College can be viewed below:

• Foundation (Joint CAS) - IELTS 5.5 (minimum 5.5)
• Foundation (Single CAS, 2 Semester) - UKVI IELTS 5.0 (No skill below 4.5)
• Foundation (Single CAS, 3 Semester) - UKVI IELTS 4.5 (Either Speaking or Listening allowed at a minimum score of 4.0. No other skills below 4.5)
• First Year (Joint CAS) - IELTS 5.5 (minimum 5.5)
• First Year (Single CAS, 3 Semester) - UKVI IELTS 5.0 (No skills below 4.5)
• Pre-Masters (Joint CAS) - IELTS 5.5 (minimum 5.5)
• Pre-Masters (Single CAS, 2 Semester) - UKVI IELTS 5.5 (Writing 5.5 and no skill below 5.0)
• Pre-Masters (Single CAS, 3 Semester) - UKVI IELTS 5.0 (No skill below 4.5)

*Students studying at a lower NQF Level programme will be issued with a Single CAS and will require a new CAS upon progression to their next level of study (In this case only UKVI IELTS will be accepted). All other students will be issued with a Joint CAS where possible.

Students are invited to make the Bay Campus their new home. The College offers safe, secure and convenient accommodation during their studies, including a high quality en-suite study bedroom, which is just a short walk to The College academic building.

Incoming students are currently offered the following accommodation discount for the on-campus Rod Jones Hall of Residence:

• Weekly cost of Standard Room: reduced from GBP 177 to GBP 140 per week (40 week tenancy).
• Weekly cost of Premium Room: reduced from GBP 183 to GBP 155 per week (40 week tenancy).

Students Union

Those who study with The College become automatic members of Swansea University's Students' Union.

The Students' Union (SU) works towards enhancing the overall university experience for all students. It operates across both Bay and Singleton campuses, committed to ensuring that every student's voice is heard and that they actively participate in all facets of university life.
