University of Washington
The University of Washington is a public research university, founded in 1861 in Seattle in Washington, United States. It is the largest university in the North western United States and one of the oldest universities on the West Coast. University’s impact on individuals, the region and the world is profound, whether it is launching young people into a boundless future or confronting the grand challenges of time through undaunted research and scholarship.
The University of Washington colleges and schools offer 1,800 undergraduate courses each quarter. It confers more than 12,000 bachelors, masters, doctoral and professional degrees annually. The University of Washington has three campuses, with its largest campus in the University District, Seattle and two other campuses Tacoma and Bothell. It occupies over 500 buildings, with over 20 million gross square footage of space, including the latest University of Washington Plaza.
