Accommodation Support Scholarship

This scholarship supports international students as they transition to life in Australia and is available to international students who elect to reside in Federation University-managed accommodation.

By choosing to live in university accommodation, students become part of a welcoming and supportive campus community, enhancing their overall Australian university experience.

Federation's campuses provide a safe, inclusive, and welcoming environment where you can focus on your studies and build lasting friendships.

Please note that additional accommodation fees will apply.

Scholarship amount

Commencing international students joining the FedLiving community at our Mt Helen, Berwick and Gippsland campuses are eligible for up to $1,000 scholarship per semester (for a maximum of two semesters, subject to $550 acceptance fee).

Eligibility criteria

To be eligible for a scholarship, you must:

• be a new international student who will begin their studies in Australia in 2026
• have Confirmation of Enrolment (COE) issued by Federation University
• be enrolling in an eligible course (excluding OS exchange and Study Abroad)
• be studying at Federation University Australia in Ballarat, Gippsland or Berwick
• not be in receipt of a Destination Australia scholarship
• be in receipt of an offer letter than includes an accommodation scholarship offer letter.
