About the scholarship
This scholarship is to recognise those receiving adjustment points for participation in FIRST Australia activities who can demonstrate FIRST core values development that prepares for an excellent career in STEM.
Duration
This scholarship is awarded for up to 4 years, subject to meeting ongoing eligibility criteria.
Criteria
To be eligible for the scholarship, applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Be an Australian or New Zealand citizen the holder of an Australian permanent resident visa or permanent humanitarian visa or any temporary entry visa holder (student visa).
- Be commencing full-time in an undergraduate degree at the Faculty of Science and Engineering in Session 1 2025.
- Demonstrate the FIRST core values of discovery, innovation, impact, inclusion, teamwork and fun.
Application for this scholarship can be made by completing the online Macquarie University Scholarship Application form. Successful applicant will be selected based on:
- Evaluation of answers to online application questions.
- Providing certification of participation in FIRST events in Australia or internationally.
- Year 11 results.
