Selection criteria:
This merit-based award is exclusive to International Students who commenced a full-time undergraduate programme at the Queen's University Belfast campus in September 2025.
Eligible students who achieve a 60% GPA in the academic year will be awarded a merit-based award of £3000 in the subsequent academic year (unless on placement, whereby the award will be made the following year).
Students who maintain a minimum GPA of 60% may receive this award in consecutive years.
No separate application for this scholarship is required. If you achieve a 60% GPA at the end of the academic year and meet the eligibility criteria as set out in the terms & conditions, you will automatically be awarded a Queen's Excellence Award following enrolment in the next year of your undergraduate programme. Notifications are normally issued during August and if eligible your award will be credited to your tuition fee account in September.
