The Snickel Lane Urban Art Award was established in 2016 by Argosy Property to offer an opportunity for a student to create and display a public artwork and develop the expertise needed to succeed in this field supported by staff of Elam School of Fine Arts.
To be eligible for Award consideration, an applicant must have been enrolled full-time in either a Doctorate of Fine Arts (DFA), Doctor of Philosophy (PhD), Master of Fine Arts (MFA), Postgraduate Diploma of Fine Arts (PGDipFA), or the final year of a Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) at Te Waka Tūhura Elam School of Fine Arts in the year of application.
