Achievement Accommodation Scholarship

Eligibility

This scholarship is for September 2025 entry.

To be eligible for the Achievement Accommodation Scholarship, students must be home students, achieve a UCAS tariff of 136 or higher (from three A Levels or equivalent, i.e. AAB), and be booked into university-owned accommodation.

Students must also be applying to a full-time undergraduate programme or an undergraduate course with an integrated Masters. Discount applies to first year of study only.

The scholarship applies to eligible room types listed above, with existing accommodation policy pre-conditions still applying.

Recipients of other scholarships are not eligible, and the scholarship does not apply to students enrolled in HYMS.

The University of Hull rewards academic excellence with the Achievement Accommodation Scholarship, helping high-achieving students settle into university life with reduced accommodation costs.

Students who achieve a tariff of 136+ (AAB or equivalent) and have booked University-owned accommodation will automatically receive a discount on their accommodation fees, bringing weekly costs down to:

• £99 – Shared accommodation
• £130 – Taylor Court Ensuite
• £140 – Westfield or Courtyard Ensuite
