Postgraduate Global Advancement Scholarship - Course

Our Postgraduate Global Advancement Scholarship - Course offers generous tuition fee discounts to eligible new international students joining selected master's courses.

Please note that this scholarship is only available for master's courses starting in January 2026.

Award

If you're a new international student, who hasn't studied with us before, you could be eligible for a tuition fee discount of £5,000, depending on your choice of course.

If you combine this tuition fee discount with other scholarships or bursaries, the total discount will be capped at 50% of your tuition fee.

Courses

You'll need to be joining one of 30+ eligible master's degrees in the academic year 2025/26.

Eligibility criteria

To receive this scholarship, you'll need to:

• Be joining an eligible master's course, including MRes programmes, from January 2026
• Be studying on campus in Liverpool
• Be paying the tuition fees for the course yourself at the international rate
• Accept your offer of a place and pay your tuition fee deposit by the deadline indicated in your offer letter.

We won't be able to offer you this scholarship if you:

• Studied at University of Liverpool International College, Xi'an Jiaotong-Liverpool University (XJTLU), or completed your undergraduate degree at the University of Liverpool. If you've studied with us before, including as a Study Abroad, Exchange or XJTLU student, you could be eligible to receive a tuition fee discount through our University of Liverpool Graduate Loyalty Advancement Scholarship
