How much does the IELTS test cost?

Transfer

• IELTS – Rs 8,800 (Rupees Eight Thousand Eight Hundred only)

• IELTS for UKVI – Rs 15,000 (Rupees Fifteen Thousand only)

• Life Skills – Rs 10,000 (Rupees Ten Thousand only)

Refund

• IELTS – Rs 8,800 (Rupees Eight Thousand Eight Hundred only) or up to 25% from the test fee

• IELTS for UKVI – Rs 15,000 (Rupees Fifteen Thousand only) or up to 25% from the test fee

• Life Skills – Rs 10,000 (Rupees Ten Thousand only) or up to 25% from the test fee

Fee payment

You will need your credit card to make a payment online (or pay by cash at the IDP Colombo office). You can also make a bank transfer. For any query, call us anytime at 0701989000 for details.

You will also have to upload a clear, scanned colour copy of your passport to complete the process.

Once the transaction has been completed email us the bank transfer confirmation slip to ielts.lanka@idp.com (please note all cash deposit slips must be emailed to us within one day of your registration to ensure your registration will not expire on the 3rd day)

Booking confirmation

A final confirmation email with test date, time and venue will be sent five to seven days before your IELTS test. If bookings are made five days or fewer before the test date, the final confirmation email will be sent as soon as possible. Ensure that your email account settings allows IDP emails and keep checking your spam/junk folder in case you don’t seem to receive any.
