Accreditation for Madonna College of Education
The Council for the Accreditation of Educator Preparation (CAEP) recently granted an initial seven-year accreditation, the longest possible.
The CAEP concluded that Madonna’s undergraduate and postgraduate teacher education degree programs met all five standards for accreditation and did not need improvement in any area.
“This is a wonderful testament to the dedication and hard work of the faculty and staff in our College of Education,” said Madonna University President Michael Grandillo.
“The dean, professors and staff in the college all share a true passion for education and they pass that on to their students as they prepare them to teach the next generation of learners,” he added.
Madonna’s teacher education program has earned exemplary status from the Michigan Department of Education since the inception of state rankings.
