AIL is a NEAS quality-endorsed ELT centre. Program information is clear and accessible and students can also make use of peer-based learning. All of the units are in line with current industry standards and are highly relevant. Teachers are well-qualified and offer students constructive feedback on a regular basis, which allows students to constantly support their learning process in real time.
Students can also access administrative support, should they need it. The AIL student support team members also offer support 24 hours a day, seven days a week. The team is always more than happy to support students with any requirements.

International students must be 18 years of age or older to enrol in courses offered by AIL.
Pre-enrolment interviews ensure that all participants are enrolled in an appropriate training program and identify any special needs with their individual learning requirements. Participants who require assistance or support with any special need, including LLN, can speak confidentially with their trainer and assessor. AIL offers assistance to all its students to gain competence.
AIL applicants must demonstrate adequate competency in language, literacy and numeracy as part of the enrolment process. A LLN test may be conducted if AIL identifies a need to evaluate a student's LLN prior to enrolment. Additional LOTE (Language other than English) tests may also be required for those applicants wishing to enrol in the interpreting and/or translation courses.

Australian Institute of Language offers a 4-day ELICOS program with five hours of study per day, available either during the day or in the evening to suit students' schedules. This flexible structure comes with benefits: it allows students time to rest, take on part-time work or explore Melbourne.
AIL is excited to announce that it now offers additional Languages Other Than English (LOTE) for the Diploma of Interpreting and Advanced Diploma of Translating courses. The newly available languages include Mandarin, Spanish, Portuguese, Vietnamese, Thai and Turkish. Students who successfully complete either the Diploma or Advanced Diploma program will be eligible to sit the NAATI certification test to become Certified Provisional Interpreters or Professional Translators.
