Entry requirements vary depending on the course. English language courses have level-based entry, based on whether they are elementary, intermediate, upper-intermediate or testing preparation courses. Vocational courses require IELTS scores ranging between 4.5 and 6.0, or scores obtained on the PTE, or completion of specific CCEB English levels. Some courses require students to have prior experience in the field.

CCEB recently acquired its own student residence - Cairns Kangarooms.
