Bachelor of Medical Radiation Science - Diagnostic Radiography

Taught by industry-based professionals, this medical radiation science degree has a high success rate in industry employment.You can also choose to specialise in one of three areas: nuclear medicine and molecular imaging, diagnostic radiography, or radiation therapy. You’ll enrol directly into your specialisation, but build a strong foundation of core knowledge in your first year.Diagnostic radiography- Become a diagnostic radiographer medical imaging technologist and produce images of the structure of the body to assist medical diagnosis, guide treatment and help with medical decision-making. you'll use a large range of imaging technologies including general X-rays, CT, angiography and mammography in various clinical settings. Further study and training will prepare you for a career in ultrasound or MRI.

Completed High School Certificate with an ATAR of 65 (including adjustment factors) or equivalent; or

Successful completion of two university level subjects (AQF level Associate Degree or higher) demonstrating a reasonable prospect of success through the Grade Point Average (GPA) gained in these studies; or

A completed AQF Certificate III or higher level qualification; or

50% completion of an AQF Diploma level qualification; or

A completed Tertiary Preparation Course from an Australian University or an accredited provider, demonstrating a reasonable prospect of success through the Grade Point Average (GPA) gained in these studies; and

English Language Proficiency. An Academic IELTS of 6.5 with no score below a 6.0 in each of the individual skill areas or a qualification deemed equivalent.
