PgDip in Social Work - Step Up

The typical offer for this course is a 2:2 or above in any degree-level qualification. This can be in any discipline except social work, and must be from a UK higher education institute or approved overseas equivalent.

Acceptable qualifications include:

An honours degree

A graduate certificate

A masters degree

A postgraduate certificate

A graduate diploma

If you’re in your final year of undergraduate study, we might be able to offer you a conditional place.

You’ll also need:

GCSEs at grade C/4 or above in English or English Language. We accept equivalent qualifications, such as Functional/Key skills Level 2 in literacy.

At least six months' paid or voluntary full-time experience working directly with vulnerable children, young people and/or families/carers or adults.

To be living in England.

Basic IT skills, including word processing, internet browsing and emails.
