Generally, applicants need to have graduated high school (or be on track to finish within 45 days of their program's start date). Students who are still in high school can apply to their certificate or diploma programs with an interim transcript.

PGWP-aligned programs

The above programs marked with an asterisk (*) are aligned with a post-graduation work permit (PGWP). This means that when international students have finished the program, they can apply for a PGWP to continue to work in Canada.

MITT has four Winnipeg college campuses, each designed for hands-on training. Students find a wealth of programme-specific facilities and resources like simulated pharmacies, pro-level kitchens, and fully stocked skilled trades workshops, all furnished with industry-grade equipment and tools. This allows students to build professional skills and hone advanced techniques that ensure they graduate with a practical industry-relevant education, and enough hands-on experience to set them apart from the crowd.

In addition to academic facilities, students have access to a selection of different on-site food and drink vendors to ensure they stay refuelled and refreshed throughout the day. Henlow Campus serves up hot breakfast and lunch plus grab-and-go bites for busy days. Fultz and Pembina campuses have plenty of quick eats, microwaves, and vending machines to keep students powered up between classes.

In 2025, MITT launched new Cybersecurity Analyst advanced diploma and Medical Assistant and Patient Care diploma programs. In 2026, a Building Operations Technician advanced certificate and Full-Stack Developer diploma will be added as well. These new programs are designed with the current needs of industry in mind, and give students the skills to build rewarding, high-impact careers with superb long-term prospects.

Cyber threats keep growing, and so does the need for professionals who can stop them. MITT's two-year Cybersecurity Analyst programme trains students to defend organisations and networks in a field known for high salaries, exciting career paths, and endless opportunities to grow as technology continues to evolve.

Accredited by the Canadian Health Information Management Association (CHIMA), the two-year Medical Assistant and Patient Care diploma preps students to step right into vital professional roles within health care teams. The Building Operations Technician program teaches the knowledge and skills needed to integrate various building systems and keep modern buildings in various environments running at their best. Students learn about topics like electrical systems, plumbing, HVAC, refrigeration, and many more, so they can make spaces work smoothly and more efficiently for the people who use them every day.

Students learn how to build real projects, from websites and interactive apps, to service platforms and advanced online tools in MITT's Full-Stack Developer diploma program. Expert tutors teach classes on how to master HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React, C#, and more, exploring emerging topics and technologies, and guiding students towards building a solid understanding of software development.
