Master of Science in Biostatistics

The Master of Science (MS) in Biostatistics program is a one-year program, providing graduate biostatistics training for students who intend to plan, direct and execute health research and/or analyze health data. The MS in Biostatistics program is distinguished by its concurrent emphasis on both statistical methodology and computer programming skills. It is a full-time program completed in four quarters or a half-time program completed in eight quarters. All students complete a thesis project in collaboration with biostatistics faculty and other Feinberg School of Medicine faculty researchers.

All applicants must:

A baccalaureate or professional degree awarded no later than June 21, 2020.

Undergraduate GPA of 3.0 or higher

GRE Verbal Reasoning score at or above the 40th percentile and GRE Quantitative Reasoning score at or above the 60th percentile. Test results should not be more than five years old.

For the TOEFL, you must score 600 or higher on the paper-based test, 250 or higher on the computer-based test or 100 or higher on the internet-based test. For the IELTS, you must receive a score of 7.0 or higher.
