Master of Science in Microbiology, Cell and Molecular Biology

The Microbiology, Cell and Molecular Biology program is designed to provide you with advanced, comprehensive training in the skills required for working with microorganisms, as well as an extensive understanding of all aspects of microbial life.

Curriculum
Thirty credit hours required for students entering with a bachelor's degree
Research option: combination of coursework and research, with expectation to publish at least one manuscript in peer-reviewed scientific journal prior to graduation.
Non-thesis option: course-heavy program that can be completed in one calendar year
41 accelerated master's option available undergraduate students majoring in microbiology
