You can gain entry into the Master of Information Technology (Cyber Security and Networks) through the following two pathways:
You can gain entry into the 2 year program with:
A recognised bachelor’s degree (or higher) in any discipline with a minimum grade point average of 4.0 (on QUT’s 7 point scale).
You can gain entry into the 1.5 year program (48 credit points of advanced standing for the foundation IT units)
A recognised bachelor’s degree (or higher) in IT with a minimum grade point average of 4.0 (on QUT’s 7 point scale), or
A recognised bachelor’s degree (or higher) in any other discipline with a minimum grade point average of 4.0 (on QUT’s 7 point scale) plus 3 years of full time professional work experience in IT.
IELTS Academic score of 6.5 with Listening, Reading, Writing and Speaking score of 6; TOEFL iBT score of 79 with Listening, Reading score of 16, Writing score of 21 and Speaking score of 18; Pearson PTE (Academic) score of 58 with Listening, Reading, Writing and Speaking score of 50; Cambridge English Advanced (CAE) score of 176 with Listening, Reading, Writing and Speaking score of 169.
