Bachelor of Applied Science in Engineering Science- Engineering Physics

Engineering physics students learn how to understand electrical systems from two perspectives: an engineer knows how to use a transistor while a physicist knows why the transistor works. This program is demanding and multidisciplinary, and students graduate with qualifications to go on to graduate school or directly enter the industry.
Engineering Physics is an option in the Engineering Science program in the Faculty of Applied Sciences. It is an honours program, so requires a specific grade point average to graduate.
In this program, you will solve problems with elegant but advanced solutions, from electronics to robotics to medical devices. You will bring your expert technical skills from the classroom to your mandatory co-op work experience, gaining valuable industry experience. By third year, you will specialize in one of five main options. The Engineering Science program in the Faculty of Applied Sciences offers you the opportunity to work in your field in a co-operative education placement.

Official International High school Transcripts required.Submit a transcript which includes grades for all courses completed and final grades for the first semester of Senior Year. Graduation from a university-preparatory program at a senior high school. International Baccalaureate IB Diploma is required. You must successfully complete the full IB Diploma, including at least 3 HL courses IB Math Analysis and Approaches HL or SL, or IB Math Applications and Interpretations HL. IB Math Applications and Interpretations SL will not satisfy the requirement IB Chemistry HL or SL IB Physics HL or SL IELTS - All test formats accepted with a minimum overall band score of 6.5 with no part less than 6.0. TOEFL IBT- Overall score 88 with no part less than 20 Pearson Test of English Academic (PTE Academic)- Overall score of 65, and a minimum score of 60 in the Communicative Skills, including: Listening, Reading, Speaking, Writing
