Seven-Year Doctor of Veterinary Medicine

The seven-year preveterinary entry point into our Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree program is designed for high-performing students who are ready to prepare for a career in veterinary medicine. During this first year of the St. George’s University preveterinary track, your coursework focuses on fundamental science education in chemistry and biology. SGU’s seven-year entry point offers a solid foundation to prepare you for the rigorous veterinary medicine education experienced during the Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree program.

Passes in GCSE Ordinary Levels (or the equivalent) in mathematics, science, biology, chemistry, English, and at least one other subject. Or High school diploma (or the equivalent) with a strong GPA in science and SAT scores.
