Trinity College

Trinity College has been offering a pathway program for international students looking to access Australia's top university, the University of Melbourne, for over 30 years. The University of Melbourne sees approximately 25 per cent of its international students join undergraduate courses from Trinity College's Foundation Studies (TCFS) program. TCFS is the only foundation studies program that guarantees entry to undergraduate courses at the university.

Designed in collaboration with the University of Melbourne, students at Trinity develop a range of academic, research and communication skills critical for success in academia and beyond. Application steps

International students must visit the website and follow the required steps to apply to Trinity College.

If the application is successful, students will be sent a letter of offer, which provides information about the intake, course commencement date, and fees payable, as well as relevant policies.

Accepting offer

To confirm their place at the college, students need to:

• Meet any and all conditions declared in the letter of offer
• Date and sign the acceptance page
• Settle the first instalment appearing on the letter of offer

Fee payment methods

Students can pay their fees made through a credit card, bank draft, or direct deposit/telegraphic transfer.

Confirming an enrolment

On receipt of payment, as well as meeting the guidelines of the Department of Home Affairs, Trinity College will confirm the student enrolments.

Visa application

Students must present the electronic Confirmation of Enrolment (e-COE) and CAAW letter (only required for students under 18) as well as other documents to apply for a student visa.

Accommodation for students

Students who are under 18 years of age must get their accommodation choices approved by the college before they apply for student visas.

Foundation Studies Scholarships

Trinity College foundation studies scholarships are allocated on a competitive basis and are awarded to deserving students based on academic excellence, intake and region. All prospective students are automatically considered for a scholarship when they apply. To be eligible, students need to have achieved excellent high school results, not be a permanent resident of Australia and submitted an application form. Scholarships will be awarded prior to intake.
